Vendor Management Analyst

 Job Objective 

Vendor management is a key area of focus for Franklin Madison. We are building strategies and executing tactics to ensure our portfolio of vendors are managed to an appropriate degree of rigor. This new role will be part of an exciting team building and driving new practices and guidelines for the company. The position will focus largely on executing various deliverables based on the formal Vendor Management Program and communicating across the business to maintain and deliver on key business vendor management initiatives. The Franklin Madison vendor management program covers the entire lifecycle of vendor relationships from request and selection to termination.  Additionally, this role will support client due diligence efforts. This position will also identify and support implementation of process improvement initiatives within the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake and assessment of Vendor Management engagement requests ensuring requestor information is complete
  • Onboard existing vendors to program
  • Ongoing evaluation of vendor tiering
  • Participate in vendor onsite assessments, documentation, and remediation
  • Maintain tracking and reporting of vendor management program deliverables
  • Manage repository of Franklin Madison Vendor Management process/procedure documents
  • Work across internal teams to effectively execute vendor management protocols
  • Remain abreast of vendor management regulatory and compliance industry trends
  • Identify and share best practices to help ensure ongoing process improvement


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 – 5 years experience in related field (Compliance, Risk Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, etc.)
